Privacy notice

Plain English on what we collect, why, and your rights. We never sell your data.

Who we are

Sentinel Asbestos provides asbestos surveying, testing and removal services across the United Kingdom. This notice explains how we handle the personal information you share with us. You can reach us at control@sentinelasbestos.co.uk or 0800 246 8024.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email, postcode, property type and any description or photos of the material you’re asking about. We also collect basic, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used.

How we use it

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out the work you ask for, and meet our legal obligations (for example, hazardous-waste consignment records). Our lawful basis is your consent and the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with the vetted surveyors, analysts and licensed removal operatives needed to deliver your enquiry, and with regulators or laboratories where the law requires. All partners are bound to handle your data securely.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to provide our service and meet legal record-keeping duties (asbestos and waste records can carry statutory retention periods), after which it is securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us and we’ll respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use only essential and lightweight analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to request a quote.
