How it works

Our method, step by step

01

We confirm the survey type your project legally needs — management for occupied buildings, refurb/demolition before any works.

02

Inspect

A P402-qualified surveyor inspects systematically, accessing voids, risers and roof spaces others skip.

03

Sample

Suspect materials are sampled under controlled conditions and sealed for UKAS lab analysis.

04

Report

You receive a register, risk scoring, annotated plans and clear next-step recommendations — usually within 48 hours.

FAQ

Asbestos Surveys: your questions

Which asbestos survey do I actually need?

If the building is staying as-is, a management survey satisfies your legal duty to manage. If you are refurbishing or demolishing any part of it, the law requires the more intrusive refurbishment & demolition survey before work begins. We will confirm the right one free of charge.

How long does an asbestos survey take?

A domestic management survey is often done in a single morning. Larger commercial premises or intrusive refurbishment surveys take longer, but we return UKAS-analysed results and the full report typically within 48 hours of the site visit.

Is my survey legally compliant?

Yes. Every survey follows HSG264, is carried out by P402-qualified surveyors and analysed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory, so the register satisfies the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and your duty to manage.
